Program Highlights

Check out these highlights of our program this year:

Online Classes

All classes for 1st-8th grade will be in an online, "on demand" format. Confirmation classes will also have this same online option, in addition to an in-person option.

Unity across the St. J's Collaborative

All students at St. John's and Our Lady of Grace will have access to the same curriculum, according to their grade level.

The Baltimore Catechism

Our curriculum, The Baltimore Catechism, employs a classic Q&A style which engages our memory in our learning and enables us to speak and think clearly about the essential truths of our Faith. For example:

Q. Why did God make you?

A. God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him forever in heaven.

Short, Sweet & Mass-Centered

Our in-person Confirmation and adult faith formation classes will begin in the church with Sunday Mass (beginning at 9:00am at St. John's and 11:00am at St. Joseph's) and then continue for 30-45 minutes after Mass concludes. Classes are weekly and capture the essentials of each catechism lesson in a short time, bringing our worship of God at Mass quickly to life.

Multiple Locations & Times

If you can't make class at St. Joseph's one Sunday, your class is also available that day at St. John's - and vice versa.

Schedule of In Person Classes - Confirmation & Adults

Our in-person Confirmation & adult classes will begin on October 17th, 2021 and continue through May 22nd, 2022, meeting weekly on Sunday (except for holidays - see below). Each grade will begin class with Mass and then transition to its respective classroom for 30-45 minutes after Mass concludes. You are welcome to attend class at St. John's in Townsend or St. Joseph's in Pepperell.

Visit our Confirmation Details page for more information on the Confirmation program.
