Saint J.’s Women’s Group
Advent “Tea & Talk”
6:30pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 11 at St. John’s Hall (Townsend)
We hope that all of you wonderful ladies of the St. J.’s Collaborative will join us for our next “Tea & Talk”! Our topic will be the season of Advent. (There will also be a “basket raffle.” If you would like to participate, please bring $5 cash.)
Also, though not necessary, it would be helpful if you could let us know if you plan to attend. Please email thewomensgroup@stjs.page. (Of course you are still welcome even if you do not email!) Finger food donations are also appreciated!

“Classic Movie Night”: Lilies of the Field
7:00pm on Sunday, November 16 at St. Joseph Hall (Pepperell)
Lilies of the Field is a 1963 American comedy drama film directed and produced by Ralph Nelson. Adapted by James Poe from William Edmund Barrett’s 1962 novel, the film takes its title from the Sermon on the Mount. It stars Sidney Poitier as Homer Smith, an itinerant handyman, who encounters a group of East German nuns in the Arizona desert. Led by the determined Mother Maria Marthe, played by Lilia Skala, the nuns believe Homer has been sent by God to build them a chapel. This movie is in black-and-white and is appropriate for the whole family. Refreshments will be served!

Children’s Christmas Pageant sign up
2:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at St. Joseph Church (Pepperell)
We are pleased to announce sign ups for the upcoming Christmas Pageant! The children will learn the Christmas story by participation. The pageant is open to all children grades K-5 from Our Lady of Grace and St. John the Evangelist parishes.
All rehearsals and pageant will be held at St. Joseph Church (Pepperell). There will be 3 rehearsals beginning with lunch (pizza) in the hall immediately following the 11:00am Mass. There is no cost!
Rehearsal 1: Sunday, 11/30/25 after 11am Mass
Rehearsal 2: Sunday, 12/7/25 after 11am Mass
Rehearsal 3: Sunday, 12/14/25 after 11am Mass
Pageant: Sunday, 12/21/25 at 2pm
