The attendance expectations for the Our Lady of Grace and St. John the Evangelist Parishes' Religious Education program is that all students are to attend class in person according to the published schedule. Weekly Mass attendance is also expected, as it is for all baptized Catholics.
Home Schooling: In general, homeschooling is not supported in place of class attendance. Exceptions to this would be for children with a special need, who are not able to attend classes in person. Also, an exception may be made, with the Pastor's permission, for a parent, or grandparent, who is skilled at teaching Catholic religious education, to homeschool under the supervision of the Director of Religious Education.
Make-up Work: Students may be offered make-up assignments or classes, at the teacher's discretion, when a student is unable to attend an occasional class.
