You are invited to a “parish movie night” at 6:00pm on Sunday, May 3 at St. Joseph’s Hall (Pepperell). The movie will be Paul, Apostle of Christ.
Paul, Apostle of Christ (2018) follows Luke (Jim Caviezel) as he risks his life to visit Paul (James Faulkner) in Rome’s Mamertine Prison, where Paul faces certain execution by Emperor Nero. As Luke documents Paul’s final days to write the Acts of the Apostles, the film highlights Paul’s struggle with his past sins, the persecution of early Christians, and the call to love his enemies, culminating in his martyrdom.
Refreshments will be served!
Note: This film is rated PG-13, as there is violence including graphic scenes of Christian persecution (not appropriate for younger children).
This is a free event sponsored by The Knights of Columbus Sister Lydia Longley Council #13140
